Struggle

The past year has really been a struggle for me weight-wise. I've regained a lot of what I lost previously and I'm not happy about it. I keep telling myself that it's time to get back on track, but keep failing. Soooooo...I've decided to come back to my blog, which helped me to be successful last time. I plan on reading through my old posts to try to get going again....I realize that there's probably nobody reading this anymore, but that's okay...I'm really doing this for myself and not anyone else.

Weigh in

So I'm down from where I was on Monday night. I'm currently at 361 which is down a total of 8 lbs. not too shabby. I did weigh in this morning vs evening so there is that to consider, but overall a great week.

Trick or Treat

I've had a really good week. I've been on points every day, and now for the most part am able to resist the Halloween candy binge so far.

I've decided Saturdays are going to be my official weigh in days again. I did weigh myself Monday night....369 (out of control)....I'll post tomorrow with my results.

I started keeping track of points today. I'm going to try to post a few times a week, but I'm going to use this blog more for a sounding board for frustrations, weigh ins, exercise, and nsv-s, more like a journal. I have a little notebook I bought to keep track of my points so I'm going to try that for a while and see how things go. I may change my mind and come back to the online points blogging at some point

Okay, so I'm a big piece of crap....

I've been out of control these last few weeks...not really gaining until this last week though. I really need to re-take control here and stop jerking around. I'm not hurting anyone but myself by being a giant turd. I ate kind of crummy today, but I decided I was getting off of my fat butt tonight and hitting the road. I did 10 minutes warmup on the exercise bike and then 2 miles in 28:40 with an average hr of 158. I'm doing another 5k on Saturday and then our family is going to Disney World in about a month. I'd like to be 15 lbs lighter and able to walk a ton the several days we'll be down there. Enough of this crap. I've had enough.

Update

So I was down 1.6 this week on monday. I know I haven't been posting much...I've been extremely slammed at work and then got hit with another cold so I've been going to bed early.

I did pick up my new bike this week:

I got an upgraded rear wheel - velocity deep v with 36 spokes for my fat butt. :)

I was going to do a longer workout tonight, but I had tired legs. I did my 15 minute warmup then started high intensity. I only lasted 10 minutes before I had to drop back down to medium. I did another 10 minutes and shut it down. not too bad though 5.5 pts earned.

So I'm down .4 this week....not much, but down is down and much better than up.

I gave my WW leader my website tonight at the meeting. She might check in here at some point(I doubt she'll post comments though...(now that I've called her out, maybe she will :)))

Now that there's a chance of her reading this, I'm recommitted to posting my daily updates :)

on another note, I will be getting my new bike this week sometime....I'm going to be riding in the Miller Lite Ride for the Arts

I'm planning on the 50 mile ride with my cousin Sarah

I'm also doing another 5k in April after running this last weekend when it was nice and realizing that my running shape sucks terribly.


I've adjusted my triathlon schedule. Instead of June, I'm doing one in July and maybe a 2nd in September. Stay tuned...:)
